From the A1, three miles past Dunbar, turn right and follow
signs for North Berwick. The main road into the town itself takes you along
the one-way system into the High Street.

Leaving Edinburgh (or its by-pass) take the A1 for Berwick upon Tweed, but follow the signs for North Berwick. You will enter the centre-of-town area down Station Hill where the fork ahead bears you to the left (one-way system) with putting green and sea on your left (Beach Road). Continue into Forth Street and turn right into Market Place. Turn right into the one-way-system which is the High Street. Continue * above.
